Guangzhou Cuisine:
Guangzhou is a food lover’s paradise. Due to its unique history, it has a large selection of unique dining possibilities. Guangzhou Cuisine is often referred to as Cantonese Cuisine and is known as Yu Cai in Chinese. It is said in Guangzhou that other then the airplane boat, and chair, Guangzhou residents eat everything in the sky, sea and earth. It gives you a basic idea of Guangzhou’s locals’ attitudes toward food. Compared to other Chinese cuisine, Guangzhou dishes use very little spices to allow the natural tastes of the carefully selected ingredients to shine through.

Guangzhou has a large variety of famous dishes and one of the most famous is Dim Sum. Cantonese (Guangzhou) Dim Sum is unique and as much attention is paid to the beauty of each dish as to its taste and color. There are restaurants that offer thousands of different Dim Sum dishes. It can be ordered directly from the menu or chosen from carts that are pushed around the restaurant by waitresses. Either way, it is a treat that will never be forgotten.
Tea is another integral part of every Guangzhou resident’s life. The locals enjoy tea in the city’s many tea houses. They have their own unique version of the Chinese tea ceremony. Tea Houses are like small communities with games, live entertainment, and many meetings. They are a fabulous way to experience local Guangzhou life first hand.

Nightlife:
Guangzhou is famous for its hopping nightlife. It is an exciting place that has something to offer everyone, from loud and hopping night clubs to elegant restaurants and pubs. For the more traditionally minded there are many teahouses available.

Bars and Nightclubs:
The three best bar streets in Guangzhou are the Binjiang Lu, Huangshi Lu, and Baie tan Bar Street. Huangshi Lu is located in the center of the city, the Bai Tan is located on the bank of the Pearl River, and Baie Tan Bar Street is located next to the White Goose Pond. Any one of these street is a great place to spend the evening.
