Day 1Arrival in Harbin

After you arrive in Harbin, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. You will spend the rest of the day on your own. If necessary, we can follow your arrival time to arrange Ice Lantern Show at Zhaolin Park.

Day 2Harbin/Mudanjiang, China Snow Town

After Breakfast, you will drive 5-6 hours to China's Snow Town in Mudanjiang city. China's Snow Town (local name: Zhong Guo Xue Xiang) is actually the nickname of the Shuangfeng Wood Farm in Hailin City. It is about 280 kilometers away from Harbin. China's Snow Town is regarded as a dreamlike paradise in winter. Its high mountains, local traditional wooden houses, villages, animals, trees and the sunrise are all greatly different from those in the other world's snowy areas. It is a very famous eco-tourist winter attraction connected to the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival.

Day 3Harbin/Yabuli

After breakfast in your hotel your tour guide will meet you. Today you will take a snowmobile to view the Yangcaoshan Mountain. Yangcaoshan Mountain is a beautiful and peaceful place covered by thick snow where you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise and snowscape. Also, you can enjoy a snowmobile ride (pay the expense by yourselves) around the mountain. After visit the mountain you will take a mini bus back to the Snow Town (Xue Xiang).

In the afternoon you tour guide will escort you to Yabuli Ski Resort (about 3 hours drive). After you arrive at Yabuli you will be enjoy the skiing at this nice ski resort. The Yabuli International Ski Resort provides great skiing with good snow and high mountains. It includes two different skiing areas, the competitive skiing section and and leisure skiing section. Built according the international standard, the competitive section provides an excellent skiing environment for professional skiers. As to the leisure skiing area, there is a comparatively easy and safe field for tourist.

Yabuli International Ski Resort serves as a world-class skiing training venue in high mountains of good snow with a resort hotel, villas, retail and ski rental shops, souvenir stores, a youth hostel and snack bars.It is also the biggest training center for alpine skiers in China and hosts of many professional skiing competitions. In 1996 and 2009, the 3rd Winter Asian Games and the 24th Winter Universidad were once held here respectively.

Day 4Yabuli/Harbin

This morning you will be free to have many optional things to do. You may choose to take the cable car, to climb up the summit of the mountain to get a commanding view of the stunning snows cape, or to take part in some other interesting activities. After lunch, you will be driven back to Harbin and free at leisure in the evening.

Day 5Harbin

Sites Visited: Saint Sophia Cathedral Church, Central Pedestrian Street, Stalin Park, Harbin Ice & Snow Amusement World

The Stalin Park. It's a lovely park to enjoy leisure for local people. It's a ideal place to keep the heat away in the summer, you can sample some snacks and dink a bottle of beer under the trees and feeling the cool breezing. In winter it become an ice activities center. There are all sorts of ice related sports holding there like ice swimming, ice skating, ice hockey and ice sailing and so on.

Harbin St Sophia Cathedral church, with Byzantine style and meaning of 'God's wisdom' for name, look so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. The church's original shape and Latin cross footprint was preserved during reconstruction. It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East.

The Central Street, also known the Zhongyang Street, it is the business center and most prosperous street of Harbin city, the capital of Heilongjiang province. The Central Street is a typical represent. The Central Street is considered as the architectural art galley: Baroque and byzantine lining both sides, including Russian bakeries, French fashion houses and Japanese restaurants and so on. It's a good place to see architectural styles as well as for shopping and taste different Cuisine.

In the evening you will go to visit the Ice and Snow World. Located on the north bank of the Songhua River, the Ice and Snow Amusement World is a major attraction of Harbin Interactional Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival dunging the winter. There are full of awesome ice and snow sculptures created by artists from all around world. Kind note that please wear enough layers of proper clothes and warm shoes to keep you away form the freeze especially when you want to stay there longer to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 6Harbin/Departure

After breakfast, free to explore this city until the time you tour guide meets you and escorts you to the airport for your flight home.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
