Day 1Wuyishan

Upon your arrival by air, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Happy Buddha, is one of the biggest petroglyphs in China; the ancient Yongle Temple, a famous Buddhist temple which is deeply located in Wuyishan; the supernatural Big Red Robe tea tree and the amazing Nine Dragon Nest Where is a long and narrow canyon where producing Big Red Robe Tea.

Day 2Wuyishan

Meals: B,L

Today, you will learn about tea culture and enjoy ancient royal music in the Royal Tea Garden. Then, it's off to visit Zhu Xi Academy to learn more about Chinese neo-Confucian culture. You’ll be sightseeing on the most beautiful mountain in Wuyi Shan with stops at Tianyou Peak,Tianyou Temple, Fairy bath pool, Yunwo Scenic Area and Special Dahongpao tea tree in cloudy canyon of Nine Dragon Nest . Along the way, you can relax and enjoy watching fish in the river. In the afternoon, you’ll take a traditional bamboo rafting tour, sightseeing on the wonderful Nine Twist Stream before visiting Wuyi Palace and having a cup of Wuyi Rock Tea.

Day 3Wuyishan-Fuzhou

Meals: B,L

After breakfast, a visit to the famous beautiful scenes including the Roaring Tiger Rock, Natural Temple, the Biggest Ray of Sky in the world, Wind Tunnel and Immortal Buildings. Located on the south side of the second bend of Nine Twist Stream, the Roaring Tiger Rock is flanked by abrupt cliffs on four sides. Natural Temple, Wind Tunnel, Immortal building are also famous spots in the Roaring Tiger Scenic Area.The Ray of Sky is a mysterious cave which is split into two parts, as if being cut through by an axe. Standing beneath of the cave and looking up, you will see the narrow sky as if a thread. After lunch, transfer to the railway station to Fuzhou by train N589.

Day 4Fuzhou – Meizhou

Fuzhou is the ancient capital of the Min Kingdom and the metropolis of Fujian province. We’ll see Yongquan Temple and Lin Zexu Memorial Hall. Yongquan Temple is founded in 915 and located on the top of Drum Mountain, and it can be considered as the most famous sightseeing spot onDrum Mountain. Situated in the border economic cooperation zone in Yining, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is built for commemorating Lin Zexu (August 30,1785 - November 22,1850), an official of Qing Dynasty and a National patriot during the Opium War. Later, you'll go to Meizhou Island of Putian to pay a visit to the homeland of Mazu, the Goddess of the sea.

Day 5Quanzhou

Go to visit Kaiyuan Temple in the West Street of Quanzhou, is a thousand-year-old temple renowned locally and internationally; Ashab Mosque, constructed in 1009, the Arab style mosque is the oldest of its kind in China; Nan'an Jiuri Mountain, the 80-meter-high mountain is world famous for its beautiful scenery and abundant relics. Laojun Rock at Qingyuan Mountain, the largest Taoist stone, as a national key cultural relics protection units; Quanzhou Museum, a comprehensive museum with typical architectural style of Southern Fujian.

Day 6Yong Ding

Sites Visited: Fujian Hakka Tulou

After breakfast, we'll go to Yong Ding to visit Earthen Buildings and learn about the mysterious Hakka Culture. An Earthen Building is usually a large, enclosed and fortified earth building, most commonly rectangular or circular in configuration, with very thick load-bearing rammed earth walls between three and five stories high and housing up to 80 families. Earthen Buildings is a type of Chinese rural dwellings of the Hakka is in the mountainous areas in southeastern Fujian.

Day 7Xiamen

Meals: B,L

After having breakfast in your hotel you will be driven to the dock then take a boat to Gulangyu Island. Gulangyu is peaceful as it is a “traffic-free island.” You can stroll around leisurely to witness different style architectures left by Western colonist when Gulangyu as a colony place at the first half of 20th century. Then go to visit Sunlight Rock (Cable fee should be paid by tourists). Sunlight Rock is the highest point of the Island, so you can have a bird's eye view of Gulangyu Island scenery on it. Then you will visit the Shuzhuang Garden where you also can visit the only and largest Piano Museum. Then you will go to HuliShan Fortress. This Fortress was first constructed in the 20th year of the Guangxu Reign (1894) of the Qing Dynasty and consists of eastern and western platforms to protect the fort, tunnels, ammunition depot, barracks, residences of officers and observation tower at the hilltop. After dinner, you will be driven to the airport for your flight to next destination.

Transportation & Private Transfers:

Transportation cost covers all the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax, train tickets between the cities as the itinerary specified.

 

Transfer between airports, railway station, hotels and scenic spots for sightseeing around the cities that are specified by the itinerary with private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.

 

Entrance Fees:

All entrance fees to the scenic spots listed in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by private tour guides depends on the real-time local circumstances wheather are beyond the control of Access China Travel. We will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. 

 

Normal Meals:

All normal meals as the itinerary specified: B = breakfast, L = Lunch, D = dinner in local  restaurant. Breakfasts are served in hotel, breakfasts have Chinese or Western style for your option; Lunches are served in carefully selected quality local Chinese restaurants with best service, your lunches will be ordered by your guide catering to your preferences within normal standard. Dinners as the itinerary specified will be also served in local Chinese restaurants. The meal quotation is normalized. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, famous rare dishes, Indian food or more, please inform us in advance. For the unspecified dinners, you will have dinner on your own. Feel free to ask your local guide for suggestions or recommendation.

 

Private Sightseeing Escort:

Normal sightseeing activities as the itinerary listed will be escorted with English-speaking guide. The English-speaking guide and driver in each city are with you throughout the entire itinerary around that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.

 

Hotel Accommodation:

Hotel service criterion: two adults share on one standard twin/double-bed room; solo traveler who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room assigned is required for extra single supplement rate. A single room is available on prior request at an additional cost; if a recommended hotel unavailable, it will be replaced by one of the same class. All hotels as the itinerary listed serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
