The Dujiangyan Irrigation system was built in draining of floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for cities of Sichuan in Tang Dynasty. The great work was built by Libing, an local official; and it is still in work now. It is regarded as the oldest and only only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world. The project consists of three important parts, namely Yuzui, Feishayan and Baopingkou.
