Shanghai Weather
Located on the Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai has a subtropical climate and has four distinct seasons. In the Winter, there is typically only one or two days of snowfall although the weather can turn quite bitter at night. In the Summer, Shanghai is very warm and humid with occasional downpours. The most pleasant seasons are Spring and Autumn which are generally sunny and dry. Shanghai’s hottest recorded temperature was 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) and lowest recorded temperature was -12 degrees Celsius (10 degrees Fahrenheit).
