The Macau Jocky Club, once the Macau Trotting Club, is the one of the most high-tech racecourses in Asia and rivaling with Happy Valley Racecourses in Hong Kong. It also serves as a training center for the horses with over 900 well-trained horses come form every corner of the planet.
The race-course has an area of 450,000 square meters and 18,000 seats for gamblers, and is open only for people over 18 years of age. Great betting facilities are offered in the name of the club, betting on course or of-course would be acceptable.
Located on Taipa of Macau, the Jockey Club has become one of the most popular tourist attractions; many hotels offers free shuttle transport to the course. The Macau Jockey Club has races all year round. Racing Season normally starts in September and ends at the end of August in the following year. Basically, there are two race meetings per week, night meeting on Fridays and day meeting on weekends.
