Opened in Opened in September, 2005, the Hong Kong Disney Land is located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, built by the Government of Hong Kong and The Walt Disney Company. The park consists of four themed lands similar to other Disneyland Parks around the world, namely Main Street, U.S.A., Adventureland, Wonderland and Tomorrowland. It is the smallest Disneyland in the world, but receives rather big volume of visitors every year.
The Main Street, U.S.A is the place where visitors can see the old buildings, dim gas lamp and Paddy Wagon which showcase the town scenery of early 20th century of America; strolling around and little restaurants, Chinese elements could be found. In Wonderland, visitors come across the famous Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck… all the famous characters in Disney remind the great story behind.
