Harbin Pole Aquarium
Covering an area of 16,000 square meters, located at the famous scenic site—Sun Island in Harbin city, the Harbin Pole Aquarium (also called Harbin Polar land) is one of the four major scenic areas of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. It is the first polar land themed park combining animal shows, polar land sights and an interactive experience into one.
The Pole Aquarium consists of Fisherman Wharf, Sun Island Mail Ship, Daxing'an Mountain, Whale Bay, Penguin Island of South Pole, Homeland of North Pole Animals, Arctic of Lapland, Happy Sea Lion Kingdom and some other interesting attractions.
Harbin Polar land is the most professional one of its kind in China. There is the pure penguin family of South Polar and the first South Pole penguin baby in the world, Manbo, which was successfully hatched in the inland city of China. In this polar land, you can see the most active polar bear brothers; watch the wonderful white whale and sea lion shows. There are also the wild arctic wolves introduced for the first time in Asia and the arctic fox brothers who can run on the running machine.
What's more exciting, visitors can take the "Train of Shark" to the "sea bottom" and appreciate the ferocious lingcod and sharks. If brave enough, they can also dive into the water and swim with these big water animals.

Reviews from trip advisor
White whale show is very interesting!
If you are visiting with kids, they would enjoy the aquarium. The white whale show at 1, 3 and 5 pm is really worth - amazing. Sea lion show is fine and same as the fish show. you can see polar bears and white wolves.
Must go when in harbin!
this place boasts of a lot of uncommon animals- arcitic fox, polar bear, beluga and more. it has two shows. one is that of the seals which the children could enjoy and the beluga show which is really fascinating for both the adult and young ones.
There are many animals here, and with the large glass displays you can see very well the polar bears, the Arctic wolves, Arctic foxes, and Beluga whales. However, I do wonder as to the size and .. interestingness of their habitats, I feel like these animals can get bored quite easily, as there is not much to do in their enclosures. The Beluga whales have been trained very well, the performance was amazing. Definitely worth seeing.
